Ages: 4 to 12
These virtue building classes are open to ALL. They focus on virtues and morals with character building activities, singing, storytelling, the arts, crafts and games. Virtues such as compassion, helpfulness and honesty are practiced throughout the week. Parents are welcome to watch or participate in the class and service projects.
Current Children’s Classes:
- Natomas Virtues Classes, Thursdays at 4 pm
- Sacramento Community Children’s Classes, Every Friday at 4 pm, September – May
SACRAMENTO COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CLASS is now enrolling students currently in kindergarten through 5th grade The classes, sponsored by the Sacramento Baha’i community, aim to nurture the hearts and minds of children. The emphasis of these classes is on helping children to learn to reflect on and apply spiritual principles, such as love, unity and justice, to their own lives and to the lives of those around them. Based on the teachings of Baha’u’llah, the classes seek to inspire in children a love of God and His Messengers, and of humanity in all its diversity. The classes include short lessons, activities to build friendship, games, stories, art and music. These classes are free.
Meets every Friday from 4:00pm-5:00pm at Coloma Community Center, 4623 T Street.
